Fully Qualified!!

Okay

So just a short note today, just want to let you all know that I passed my manicure and pedicure course today,so I'm fully qualified to do them and Gel Nails too!!looking forward to getting some regular clients,exciting times ahead!!

Can't wait for the certificates to arrive so I can show them off to everyone!!

Feels great to achieve something that I enjoy doing,also keep a look out for some nail art too!!

I'm Back!!

First of all I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in over 12 Months...this isn't acceptable.

Although I haven't been blogging I haven't been very busy,just working and have a new found passion of running,I love how far I have come since running and recently completed my first 10K race ,it's such a great accomplishment once you cross the line and have a medal to prove it,I ran for dogstrust as this is a charity very close to my heart.

In the world of nails,I still love doing them and now have a certificate in doing gel nails. This has given me more confidence in doing nails and still love testing out new nail art ideas. 

I am going to try my very hardest to keep you all informed of my on goings.

Told you I would be back soon!! : )

Recently I have been looking into trying gel nail polish, After some research and watching youtube for too long, I finally thought I would try and give it a go myself, I went with the brand Gelish as I have seen them crop up when looking at nail items online and in my Scratch magazine (Nail Tech mag.)

After looking into the prices I became aware that it doesnt come cheap, but I thought why not! I have been working extra hard at work so why not treat myself to something new and I am so glad I did, I would reccommend it to anyone, It is so easy to do.

There are lots of different varities of colours out there but I have just gone for the most popular 'French Manicure' style for now and maybe build up my collection in time.

Another pro to using gel nail polishes is that is helps harden your natural nail and you can paint it on you own nail as well as gel nail extensions. 

There are 5 basic things you will need:

• Gelish Foundation Gel
• Gelish Top it Off
• Gelish Nail Polish
• Harmony Cleanse Cleaner
• 36 Watt UV Lamp

I would have to say you will need a nice steady hand as doing a French Manicure does require alot of practice and patience to get a nice tip.

Hi Everyone,

So sorry I haven't been on here sooner, I have been trying to put a new post on here for ages, But I have been super busy in work the past couple of weeks I haven't had a chance to post.

So originally I have started this blog to show you all what I love doing at the moment which is nails and nail art.

So to start off I'm going to show you some of the 'art' I have done.
